In this course you will deal with internal accounting (also known as Controlling) and how this inherently important area of business administration is implemented in the context of the latest standard software in the field of enterprise resource planning, SAP S/4HANA. The SAP S/4HANA application dealt with is SAP CO (Controlling).
With the help of an integrated business scenario that you actively carry out on the system, central topics of controlling are presented. You will work successively on all levels of the SAP S/4HANA system. This includes customizing your own organizational model, creating your own master data records, and customizing and carrying out your own integrated business processes in the area of controlling. The case studies deal with the following areas in a practice-oriented manner:
- Organizational model in SAP S/4HANA with a special focus on SAP CO
- Master data in SAP S/4HANA with a special focus on SAP CO
- Business processes in the areas of overhead cost controlling, cost center and cost element accounting, internal orders, planning, budgeting and availability control as well as profitability analysis.
